The Count Of Monte Cristo

A young man named Edmond Dantès rises through the ranks of the French Navy and becomes engaged to Mercédès, but his life takes a dramatic turn when he is betrayed by his friends and imprisoned on false charges. After 14 years in solitary confinement, Dantès escapes and seeks revenge against those who wronged him, adopting the persona of the mysterious Count of Monte Cristo and using his vast wealth and influence to orchestrate their downfall.
