4. Substituting 2m - 1 = p and 2n - 1 = q

So that  in the above result, we have

(1) Sustituting q = 0 in the above result we get;

(2) Substituting p = 0 and q = 0 in he above result we get;

5. Replacing n by (n 1) in the definition of gamma functions.

On integrating by parts we get;

This is called the Recurrence formula, for the Gamma Functions.
