Mrs. Dalloway

A novel about life and death set in post-World War I London where Clarissa Dalloway prepares for a party while Septimus Warren Smith struggles with the trauma of war. A middle-aged woman, Clarissa Dalloway, prepares for a party she will host that evening as she goes out to buy the flowers. Meanwhile, Septimus Warren Smith, a young veteran, is struggling with his own demons and contemplating suicide after being shell-shocked during World War I.
